The owners of Gypsy Saloon & Stella Blu in West Conshohocken have calculated that they will serve their 50,000th order of Lobster Macaroni & Cheese this April.

To mark this event, anyone who orders the award winning dish April 1 – April 30, can fill out an entry form for a chance to win a Lobster Macaroni & Cheese party for 50 of their friends and co-workers. Party will consist of all-you-can-eat Lobster Mac & Cheese, an assortment of hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer.*

In December 1998, chef Guillermo Pernot opened ¡Pasión! on South 15th Street. Born and raised in Argentina, he introduced Philadelphia foodies to the flavors of South America, particularly his Nuevo-Latino style.Pernot received rave reviews from nationwide newspapers, culinary magazines and this restaurant critic, as well. WEST CONSHOHOCKEN – What would we do without our TV chefs?
They teach us how to shout “bam!” with gusto and how to chiffonade and purée with the best of them.

Now it looks like we may have the next Emeril Lagasse evolving right under our culinary noses. Having sliced, diced and whisked his way into an appetizing career as a renowned maestro at the stove, Ralph Pallarino, chef and co-owner of Stella Blu and Gypsy Saloon, has been seriously gearing up to serve us his main course as a telegenic cook.
