diningrmThis month, Executive Chef-Owner Patrice Rames is introducing his new Brasserie menu at Patou. The menu includes Chef Rames’ signature dishes that many have come to love over the past 20 years.

French classics like Boeuf Bourguignon, Bouillabaisse, Coq au Vin and Cassoulet are featured entrees. Other Brasserie favorites include Salade Lyonnaise, Escargots, Moules (mussels) and Steak Frites. In addition, Chef has added 4 new pastas, a raw bar/fruit de mer and a daily Plat du Jour.

A flight a night for Hanukkah…  And a 4-course menu, too!

‘Tis the season…already? Yep, Hanukkah starts early this year. So, Ansill is kicking off the holidays with an 8 Nights of Hanukkah Menu!

Beginning Tuesday, December 4 through Tuesday, December 11, Chef-Owner David Ansill will offer a flight of 8 wines along with a 4-course menu in honor of the 8 nights of Hanukkah.

South Philly Comes to W. Conshohockenpizza 1

The owner’s of Stella Blu and Gypsy Saloon are at it again with their latest endeavor, Bella Luna Pizza Kitchen!

The trio of Kim Strengari, Marianne Gere and Chef Ralph Pallarino are taking over Diuccio’s Pizza and transforming it into an upscale spin on the traditional South Philly sandwich and pizza shop.

All sandwiches will be made with Boar’s Head meats and the traditional South Philly seeded bread. The official opening is Thursday, November 8th! Call us for lunch today!

Canadian Favorite “Poutine” on Kildare’s Menu Thursday, November 8, 2007

Check out Michael Klein’s Food & Drinq blog for the latest addition to Kildare’s Menu:

Dave Magrogan, who rolled out his first Kildare’s four years ago, is retooling the concept under his new corporate chef, Brian Duffy, who recently left The Shanachie in Ambler. New menu is best described as “Euro gastro-pub.” Or “New Celtic.” Either way, they’re also serving that french fry-like French Canadian treat called poutine.

They’ve started with the location on Head House Square in Philly, and will put it on in Manayunk by the end of the year. All told, Kildare’s has six locations.
