Yin and yang, opposites that compliment. It’s as true in the universe as it is on the plate. The yin and yang represent all the opposite principles one finds in the universe. In food, it’s the opposing yet amicable combination of sour vs sweet; spicy vs mild; hot versus cold; crunchy vs smooth.

Chef Patrick Feury brings this ancient concept to the table beginning New Year’s Eve (and running through the spring) with a three-course Yin and Yang menu, featuring foods that meld divergent yet complimentary flavors, textures and other elements within the realm of this Ancient Chinese philosophy.

The meal is $39 or $69 paired with wine/sake.
The New Year’s Eve menu will feature…
Scallop Ying Yang, a cool scallop seviche with chili lime ice against a warm baked scallopwith wild mushrooms and truffles.

A second course of Kobe Beef Yin Yang, Kobe Vietnamese carpaccio and warm Kobe beef with a soy glaze on Ishiyaki stone.

Dessert that twins a cold Nectar soufflé and a hot chocolate soufflé.

Nectar will also offer their full Asian inspired menu featuring regional organic farm-fresh ingredients. New Year’s Eve dinner is served from 5pm to 11pm with open seating.
