…Summer Classics with a Mediterranean Twist

August is when the most beautiful tomatoes are ready to crack and are exploding with flavor. And throughout August, is when Chef Michael Cappon of Isabella will showcase the season’s freshest produce with his Totally Tomato Menu, featuring locally sourced heirloom and roma tomatoes from Snyder Farms in Perkasie, PA.

Chef Cappon’s Totally Tomato Menu is a delicious way to discover all that tomatoes can be and includes summer classics with a Mediterranean twist. Nothing says summer like a fresh juicy tomato!

Roasted Heirloom Gazpacho  7
a chilled soup of roasted local tomatoes, mixed vegetables and topped with a spicy chili crema

Caprese  8
local tomatoes, with house mozzarella, fresh basil, arbequina olive oil and balsamic

Tomato and Cucumber  9

local heirloom tomatoes and organic cucumber marinated in pedro ximenez and arbequina olive oil, oil tossed

with toasted orzo, baby arugula, pine nuts and ricotta salata

Puerco 9
crispy braised pork cheeks, smoked tomato compote, creamy polenta

Tomato Coca 12
olive oil blanched plum tomatoes with fresh garlic and herbs, baked on a crispy flatbread, topped with grana padano

fried calamari with an arugula salad and drizzled

with cilantro and green chili pesto

clams in a chorizo and tomato broth

mussels in a roasted tomato jus with a crisp potato and arugula salad

crispy veal meatballs, with fresh herbs and a spicy tomato sauce

Cochino Frito
crispy pork belly, sweet pea puree, pickled onion

Pinchos de Carne
chili and roasted garlic marinated beef skewers with a porcini mushroom crema and charred onion

Higo Borrachos
“drunken” figs stuffed with valdeon blue cheese and rolled in toasted marcona almonds

Patatas Bravas
seasoned fried potatoes with a tomato and chili aioli

Spinach & Pine Nuts
sautéed spinach, pine nuts and roasted garlic

No corkage fee!

Isabella offers BYOB every Sunday and Monday night, with no corkage fee. It’s a wonderful and affordable way to experience Chef Michael Cappon’s farm-fresh, Mediterranean-inspired menu.
