Cafette’s New Year’s Eve Celebration

…Four Courses for $50

Monday, December 31st is just around the corner. So, if you are searching for the perfect way to celebrate New Year’s Eve, then look no further than  Cafette BYOB. The cost is $50 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Open seating is available from 5:00 – 10:00pm. Reservations can be made by calling 215-242-4220.

First Course (choice of)
Vegetarian French Onion
assortment of sweet cooked onions in a rich brandy mushroom broth, with an herb crouton and fresh grated Reggiano cheeseMussel and Oyster Chowder
a rich combination of seasonal fresh shellfish 

served in our classical cream based chowderSecond Course
Caramelized Bartlett Pear Salad
gorgonzola cream, Belgian endive, watercress,

Spinach Risotto Stuffed Mushroom Cap
mushroom and roasted tomato ragout

Pan Roasted King Salmon
served atop a saffron infused lobster sauce with green goddess mashed potatoes, winter vegetable sauté and crab remoulade

grilled petite Filet and pan seared herb lump crab cake, 

black truffle peppercorn and tarragon sauces, 
herb potato gratin and butter poached asparagusDessert (choice of)
Orange Crème Brulee
the french classic with a splash of orange

   Winter Hours

Cafette is now open Wednesday through Sunday and closed Monday and Tuesday, Cafette will return back to their spring hours beginning in April.

   For 20 years, locals have known that Cafette’s seasonal menu, fresh ingredients and relaxed atmosphere make it the perfect spot for gathering.

Cafette’s dynamic and seasonal menus have an emphasis on local produce and moderate prices, in keeping with their history of serving good value along with great food.

Located off the main drag in Chestnut Hill, their staff of local faces is waiting to welcome you.

Chef Bela Durst began his culinary adventures in San Francisco nearly 30 years ago where he apprenticed for Chef Jeremiah Tower at the acclaimed Stars Restaurant. Tower has been credited with developing the culinary style known as “California Cuisine.”

Since then, Chef Durst has been honing his skills at restaurants in San Francisco, Napa and Philadelphia. His culinary philosophy is to pair fresh, local, seasonal ingredients that prove to be fun and inspired, yet simple!
