Mother’s Day at Cafette in Chestnut Hill: Three Course Mother’s Day Dinner Menu for $35

This Mother’s Day, start mom’s day off right and let someone else do the cooking! On Sunday, May 12th Cafette BYOB will celebrate Mother’s Day by offering a special Three Course Prix Fixe Dinner Menu. The cost is $35 per person (plus tax and gratuity) and is offered from 5:00pm – 9:00pm. Kids 12 and under can choose from the Children’s Menu.


Cafette’s a la carte dinner menu will also be available. Their a la carte brunch menu will be offered for Mother’s Day from 9:00am – 2:30pm.


In a lovely nod to spring, enjoy dining al fresco in Cafette’s charming courtyard (weather permitting) or in the cozy dining room, sprinkled with fresh spring flowers. Reservations can be made by calling 215-242-4220.

First Course (choice of)
Steamed Mussels in a sauce of tomato, basil, garlic and white wine.
Pan Seared Large Artichoke served with garlic, oil and lemon aioli

Spring Lettuce Salad candied pecans, gorgonzola cheese and sweet orange segments

Second Course
Grilled Filet Mignon crisp potato anna, bleu cheese, watercress salad
in roasted shallot vinaigrette & wild mushroom sherry butter

Pan Roasted Scottish Salmon poached asparagus, citrus basmati and lemon dill sauce

Strawberry Shortcake sliced sweet strawberries, vanilla whipped cream and fresh strawberry sauce

Chocolate Pot de Crème served with whipped cream and fresh raspberries.

Chef Bela Durst began his culinary adventures in San Francisco nearly 30 years ago where he apprenticed for Chef Jeremiah Tower at the acclaimed Stars Restaurant. Tower has been credited with developing the culinary style known as “California Cuisine.” Since then, Chef Durst has been honing his skills at restaurants in San Francisco, Napa and Philadelphia. His culinary philosophy is to pair fresh, local, seasonal ingredients that prove to be fun and inspired, yet simple!
