Brian Engler, owner of Sola BYOB is pleased to welcome new Executive Chef, Colin Mason. Bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience, Chef Mason takes Sola to another level.
With a heavy focus on local and sustainability, quality ingredients and intense preparation, Chef Mason’s menu will deliver creative dishes with a depth of flavor that is beautifully presented.
Colin Mason is no stranger to the Philadelphia area restaurant scene and comes to Sola with a wealth of fine and varied culinary experience. He honed his skills studying under Chef Terence Feury at Fork, and later with Terence’s brother, Patrick at Nectar. After a brief stint with Susanna Foo, Colin expanded his repertoire with soulful, traditional Mediterranean style cookery under the direction of Konstantinos Pitsillides at Kanella in Philadelphia.

About Sola BYOB
Sola is a small BYOB focusing on contemporary American cuisine with French and Mediterranean influences. Sola offers a seasonally inspired menu taking advantage of a small network of local farms and organic producers of cheese, honey and other items. The menu is a pleasant balance between meat and seafood. Vegetarian requests are always accommodated.
Sola owner, Brian Engler’s goal is for the perfect dining experience…A friendly welcome, great food and service, an intimate atmosphere and a sincere thank you as they leave.
